Project Description
This house repaint in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, gave a well-loved family home the fresh, modern look it needed. Over the course of four days, the RW Professional Painting, LLC crew completed a full exterior overhaul—power washing, extensive prep, and application of two full coats of Sherwin Williams Duration Satin across all painted surfaces.
The job covered a two-story house and a detached rear shed, excluding only the raw brick features. Surfaces painted included siding, fascia, soffit, gutters, downspouts, doors, trim, and accent areas. Every detail mattered.
The total project cost was $5,500, including all materials, labor, and surface protection. This wasn’t a basic touch-up. It was a thorough, strategic upgrade to ensure both long-lasting performance and updated curb appeal.
Background/Story:
The homeowners reached out to RW Professional Painting, LLC after years of watching their exterior paint wear thin. Like many in Highlands Ranch, their house faced the full force of Colorado’s sun, wind, and seasonal storms. Over time, the paint faded, cracked, and peeled, especially on sun-exposed sides and trim boards.
What troubled them most, however, wasn’t just the look. Water intrusion had started to threaten exposed areas, especially around nail heads, soffits, and fascia boards. Their original caulking had long since failed, and some boards were even coming loose.
They wanted more than just a paint job—they wanted protection. Something dependable. Something they didn’t have to worry about next year or the year after that.
After a detailed consultation, we explained how Sherwin Williams Duration and professional-grade prep work could solve those exact concerns. The homeowners were onboard, excited, and relieved. They appreciated our attention to detail and our promise not to skip over the areas others might ignore.

Results:
By the end of the fourth day, the transformation was undeniable. What had once looked tired and patchy now appeared bold, polished, and fully protected.
The new Copley Gray body gave the house a grounded, modern presence. Trim in Elephant Tusk brought a sense of balance and brightness, while the Otter accent color added personality without overwhelming the rest. The homeowners loved the layered contrast—it was everything they had hoped for.
From a performance standpoint, this home is now protected with a premium paint system and properly sealed against moisture, cracks, and future peeling. The use of Duration Satin means they’ll enjoy the look and performance for years to come, even under Colorado’s dramatic weather swings.
