This was a full interior project for a full family and pet currently living within the residence, logistics was key. To reduce the overall duration of the project, large sections of the house were completely taken over by our team to allow us to get in, do what needs to be done, and get out.
Changing the Color Theme
A stunning home with plenty of natural lighting, it had been a few years since the last paint job but was still in excellent shape. The existing color theme was the grey walls with a creamy off-white color for the trim. The piano room had a dark raw brick accent wall. With such a dark theme and moderate lighting in most rooms, the new homeowners' goal was to pull away from the grey and lighten up the color theme for the entire house.
Lots of Detailed Preparation
The first step was to go through each area and cover all flooring, taped down from corner-to-corner. Next was to cover with plastic and tape down all furniture, cabinets, windows, and any surface not being painted. All coverings were also secured shut with tape. All wall products were applied with a brush and roller, while all trim products were applied with a spray finish.
